Abstract

In the present work are listed all described species of echinophthiriids lice from Argentina and Antarctica, based on literature and specimen records. A total of seven species belonging to three genera, and nine host-louse associations are recorded. A key of identification and a host-parasite list are provided and also, for each species the information about type material, repositories in Argentina, and geographic distribution is given. Also, a list of parasite species- host association is provided.
